After more than 40 hours I feel ready to talk about Hogwarts Legacy!
Let's make it clear right away, it's not a revolutionary game or one that innovates the genre it belongs to... and you know what?
That's perfectly fine, because playing it you can immediately see that the thing the developers were aiming for was just one thing: immersiveness!
Playing it will really feel like being in the magical world narrated in the Harry Potter books.
Hogwarts is faithfully reconstructed in every aspect, full of goodies and life, as are the surroundings of the school that offer breathtaking views that you can admire while riding your broomstick.
The main plot is appreciable, but in some ways less thorough than some of the side quests, especially those concerning your fellow adventurers.
The world is full of activities, collectables and missions that are never too tedious to complete thanks to a good level design of the various dungeons and above all to an excellent combat system that proved to be dynamic, complex enough and great for facing groups of really fierce enemies
If you are interested in the game but have never approached the world of Harry Potter, don't despair, Avalanche Software has managed to make the wizarding world accessible even to novices with good use of dialogue between characters and some collectables that will tell you various trivia about the world you'll be entering.
There's not much more to say except, pick up your wand, ride your broomstick and hold high the name of your house in this year's Hogwarts!
